Bridges, buildings and a carousel. Warren and Irene Diederich were instrumental in creating and supporting everything from the FargoDome to Fargo North High School. Warren and Irene, individually and as a couple, were a force behind efforts, both short and long term, within the community. From the North Dakota State University campus to the Red River Zoo, Warren and Irene Diederich significantly improved the Fargo-Moorhead community.
Their strong community legacy will continue in perpetuity, through the Warren B. and Irene O. Diederich Fund at the FM Area Foundation. Funds from their donor-advised fund will be allocated by their four children to support nonprofit and community needs.
Irene was one of the charter members of the FM Area Foundation Ambassadors. The group was created to raise awareness of the Foundation and represent the Foundation within the community.
The philanthropic legacy of Warren and Irene Diederich will continue through the fund they established. It is a legacy of community support and involvement that will live on forever.
